Aims & Objectives


The aims and objectives of the Nuneaton Women's Multicultural Resource Centre are:

To empower women living in highly disadvantaged areas of West Nuneaton and Bedworth by developing and providing a variety of services to improve the quality of their lives, without distinction of political, religious, sexual orientation, disability, cultural or other opinions. This will be achieved by association with other community groups and voluntary organisations in a common effort to facilitate the development and delivery of training, educational and recreational programmes, as well as the promotion of community enterprise initiatives


To develop in association with local minority women’s groups a shared vision for the development, establishment and operation of a Women’s Multicultural Resource Centre


To develop a vision into an agreed strategy and a series of measurable actions which will provide the infrastructure and support essential for the development of women in particular, minority ethnic women in West Nuneaton and Bedworth


To work with local employers to increase the level of commercial activity and associated job opportunities


To provide link with the Centre and external agencies


To identify and offer support women in the area who may not be currently engaged in economic regeneration and training-based activities


To empower women primarily, Black Minority Ethnic women by developing and implementing a range of activities tailored to their specific needs to improve the quality of their lives and those of their families.
